You are invited to the Chinese American Democratic Club (CADC)'s Summer Party & Fundraiser on August 2nd, 2025, Saturday, 6pm - 8pm at Lions Den (57 Wentworth Pl, SF, CA 94108).  Food, no host bar, karaoke and lots of old and new friends at the plush Lions Den. Ticket is a $100/person donation to CADC.  

CADC is a community-based organization with a long and proud tradition of civic engagement and advocacy for social justice, the Chinese American Democratic Club has both the moral authority and the strategic reach to help galvanize broad support for this cause.

The most critical issue that CADC is working on is to support the campaign to recall Supervisor Joel Engardio. Supervisor Engardio’s record and policy positions have raised growing concern among many in our community. From his alignment with special interests that often disregard the concerns of working-class families and communities of color, to his role in enabling decisions that have led to a deterioration in the quality of life, creating divisions in the neighborhoods, and the implementation of controversial land use policies, it is clear District 4 residents deserves more responsive, community-centered leadership.

Your support can make a meaningful difference—not just in this recall campaign, but in reaffirming the principle that elected officials must be held accountable to the people they serve.
